Yes, it really is. There were a lot of reasons for this, but a couple of reasons were 1) it felt like a natural stopping point for Maddy&#8217;s character, and 2) I don&#8217;t want to overstay my welcome. I am always disappointed in series that seem to go on and on with no direction. I&#8217;ve always had a general plan for Maddy&#8217;s sto<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">ry and while I could have written two or three more books it seemed like this was the place to wrap things up. Plus, I have tons and tons of ideas for other books and I&#8217;d like to try my hand at writing something different.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"userContent\" data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\nI want to thank everyone who has come along on Maddy&#8217;s journey with me. I hope that you will try ALICE, the first in a 2-part book series, which will be released next August.
